Yesterday before the game against Greece Mesut posted two new messages on Facebook. The first one read:
With some help from online translators it says:
All new feeling today: Euro Cup game without having to travel. From the hotel, where we have lived for two and a half weeks, we are ten minutes from the stadium. Hopefully we can celebrate again today.
The second message of the day was:

Only a few hours left until kickoff, i am so damn hungry.

A note from Özil on facebook
Today Özil wrote on his facebook after Germany won their group yesterday in the Euro Cup.
The translation would be (with help of google translation):
“The first intermediate step of the EC is complete. Thank you for your support. I’m also happy that Portugal is through and for the goals of Cristiano. Only in our group there are five players from Real who made it into the quaterfinals – so, we have introduced ourselves.”
